At long last, a US theatrical trailer for "Cosmopolis" has hit the web. While the movie looks as trippy as ever, this teaser gives us a better sense of the shape of the movie than anything that has come before.
And boy does Robert Pattinson look comfortable in such a bizarre, edgy movie. We're used to seeing him as our favorite sparkly vampire, Edward Cullen, but it looks as though his portrayal of Eric Packer might be our favorite performance of his yet.
"Cosmopolis" made its premiere at Cannes in May, and will hit theaters on August 17. It tells the story of a Wall Street billionaire who spends the day driving around New York City in his limousine as the stock market, his fortune and society begin to crumble around him. David Cronenberg directs the film, which stars Pattinson, Sarah Gadon, Juliette Binoche, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Kevin Durand and Paul Giamatti.
