"White House Down" might not sound like a movie getting worked up over or particularly excited for, but the thriller starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx has a number of big things going for it.
The story doesn't sound all that you (there's another movie with the same premise coming out next year with Gerard Butler), but Sony bought the spec script from "Zodiac" writer James Vanderbilt for $3 million, fast-tracked it, and got Roland "Blew Up the White House" Emmerich to direct it. Plus, there's Tatum and Foxx in the lead roles at the same time that they're experiencing career highs.
Entertainment Weekly just revealed the first official photos from the action flick due out next June. Check them out after the jump!
