After this weekend's "Argo," there's little doubt that we are now living in the age of "Ben Affleck: Director of Films." Critics heaped praise onto "Argo," his most recent directorial effort about the hostage crisis in Iran in the early 80s.
Though, "Argo" couldn't quite overcome that other hostage drama that partially takes place in Istanbul, "Taken 2" with Liam Neeson, it did manage to find audiences and secure a respectable $20 million opening weekend.
