Disney Animation and its newest leading man, Ralph, wrecked the box office this weekend. The video game-themed animated feature, "Wreck-It Ralph," took the weekend with a $49.1 million gross and handedly won the weekend box office.
The rest of the top three performed strongly, however. The adult fare for the weekend, "Flight" and "Argo," both performed respectably. The former, starring Denzel Washington in a buzz-worthy performance, opened in second place with $25 million. Ben Affleck's third directorial effort continued to bring in audiences, adding $10.2 million to its now $75.9 million total.
