If audiences voted with their wallets this week, "Skyfall" played very favorably with the massive crowds that came out in droves to see the 23rd adventure of James Bond on the big screen. "Skyfall" took in a much larger than expected total, around $87.8 million.
The critics were almost equally as generous. The TomatoMeter rating for "Skyfall" currently sits at 91 percent, easily ranking it among the best reviewed films of the year.
